About the Role:

As Uniting’s Volunteer Coordinator you’ll be joining a small dynamic team, passionate about connecting community and volunteers to health and community services.

Based in Parramatta, you’ll drive Uniting’s volunteer recruitment, supporting people to join our inspiring volunteer community. You’ll screen volunteer enquiries, match them with suitable opportunities and support the registration and onboarding experience.  

You will work closely with local services and programs across NSW and the ACT and develop volunteering capabilities through various activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Being able to build relationships, communicate well and inspire people are integral to this role, here are some other skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with volunteer management or recruitment
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating projects or programs
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication, highly service oriented, and networking skills
  • Confidence using technology
  • A commitment to continuous learning
