New role! Technology Solution Architect - Sydney CBD | Full-time, Permanent - Start January 2025

Join Uniting’s technology team as a Technology Solution Architect, where you’ll lead the design and integration of robust technology solutions that address our organisation’s unique challenges. In this role, you will develop innovative solutions that align with Uniting's standards, leverage common services, and meet financial targets. Your strategic insight will ensure technology integration that aligns with our environment, stakeholder requirements, and non-functional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Solution Design: Craft solutions that integrate seamlessly with Uniting's enterprise architecture, focusing on applications and integrations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage closely with stakeholders to understand and translate their requirements into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Project Constraints Management: Balance constraints of cost, scope, quality, time, resources, and risk.
  • Technical Solution Stack: Identify the best technology stack to meet business requirements.
  • Non-functional Compliance: Ensure solutions meet security, usability, and performance requirements.
  • Implementation and Governance Support: Oversee development efforts and guide project governance, from detailed design through to deployment and benefits realisation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Solution Engineering Expertise: 10+ years in technology solution engineering, with experience in crafting solution vision, requirements, and detailed implementation plans.
  • Enterprise System Integration: Proven success integrating systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with enterprise solutions (Dynamics 365 CRM, Epicor) via Microsoft Azure.
  • Finance Technology Solutions: Experience in Finance solutions design for modules like AP, AR, GL, P2P, and ERP systems, particularly in Dynamics 365.
  • Innovative Problem-Solver: Ability to develop creative solutions within a complex organisational framework, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile Experience: Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Relevant Certifications: Dynamics 365 or Azure certifications are highly regarded.
  • Sector-Specific Knowledge: Aged Care industry experience, especially with billing systems, is a plus.
