Position: Permanent Part-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Clarence Valley 
Salary: Up to $32.20 per hour + 99c per km and travel time

About the Opportunity

Join us as a Uniting Home Care Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of care for our elderly clients. Based in Clarence Valley, Yamba. You'll provide essential support to empower independence and enhance the quality of life for our clients in their own homes.

What you will be doing in this role

  • Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
  • Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience in aged or community care preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.
  • Empathetic and resourceful, embodying Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs and schedules of our clients.
  • A provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
