Site Coordinator/Security Program - 12 month FTC

About the Role:

We are looking for a site coordinator to join our security program. You will form an essential part of our agile team, bringing your own unique talent and skills to the role. This exciting position will see you work on a many significant security projects, in a supportive, personable and people-focussed environment.

In this role you will act as the prime communications link between uniting site contacts, security program team members, vendors and internal supporting teams to support the transition from the existing network to new network systems. You will support the vendor engagement and ensure that bookings are scheduled appropriately with the vendors, sites, and program team, and will be the “voice” of the program team to the sites. You will facilitate stakeholder engagement, service delivery and governance of the program, including gathering, storing, and disseminating key documentation, and assisting with readiness assessments and forward planning.

Ideally you are a from a technical agile project delivery background, with some experience in working in cross-functional teams, and have worked with IT Infrastructure, security, change management, communications or all of the above.

Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • This roll is mapped to SFIA skills:  PROF-4, SEAC-4, DATM-3, METL-3
  • Working with security program team, Uniting site contacts, vendors and BAU support teams to support the transition from the legacy network to the new Network systems. 
  • Act as a prime communication link between Uniting local site contacts, security program Team members, vendors and BAU support teams to ensure clear communication is flowing between all stakeholders for all site work.
  • Ensure all security program team and vendors site bookings are scheduled with the site representative and Program team. This will include communicating with all site contacts and representing “the voice” of the Program to the sites.
  • Ensure the new network systems are successfully transitioned on site and support is successfully handed over to the BAU support teams. 
  • Support vendor engagement through response management, response review tracking and communication.
  • Supporting the readiness phase of sprint items - driving stakeholder involvement to see technical, service delivery and governance checklists completed.
  • Gathering, storing and disseminating key documentation to support sprint planning.
  • Time tracking and forward planning for readiness assessments and completion/sign-off.

  You will have the ability to:

  • Take part in and facilitate workshops, agile events.
  • Represent the security program team in communication and coordination between the internal and external parties.
  • Support process definition, re-engineering, integration requirements, identification of pain points.
  • Support the acceptance of deliverables to agreed criteria, and help define the criteria.
  • Develop required documentation such as workshop agenda, presentations, gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams, roles/responsibilities.
  • Identify areas of process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) and recommending solutions that detail pros, cons and risks.

Ideally you have:

  • Experience in networks, IT infrastructure, cyber security.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team.
  • Understanding of agile project delivery, feature driven development.
  • A Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Note: second or third year undergraduate are also welcome to apply
