About the role:

This great 6 month fixed term contract position will be based in Parramatta's CBD, and will be an addition to our already established IT Service Desk team due to team growth. There may be the opportunity to extend or convert to a full time position!

As a Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for providing first line IT Support to all Uniting Staff by guiding end-users and conducting troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing remote Tier 1 support through phone, email or ticketing system (ServiceNow).
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, resolve, liaise and prioritise incidents, problems and requests.
  • Communicating to users the progress of their requests/incidents from receipt to closure.
  • Accurate logging of service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with a variety of support groups in order to resolve incidents.

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated Customer Service experience
  • Strong communication skills as you will be assisting all levels of Uniting's staff
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems
  • Previous IT Service/Support experience an advantage
