Role Overview:

The role of the Rostering and Administration Coordinator, is a new role within the Psychosocial Services portfolio. The Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining staff rosters across allocated services, with consideration to consistency, efficiency, fairness, and compliance with legislative and award requirements. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will further support the service through administrative and financial reporting an effective service delivery for clients.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Business Administrative, or equivalent and relevant to the field of work
  • Previous experience within high volume rostering across multiple services.
  • Proven ability to flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and circumstances, including reactive rostering.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organised and methodical approach to administration, prioritisation and record keeping.
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current drivers’ license

Desirable

  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award and conditions relating to rostering practice, principles and best practice
  • Previous financial experience in financial administration, particularly purchase orders and requests
