About the Facility

Located in the beautiful township of Goonellabah, Uniting Caroona is surrounded by natural beauty. Our facility consists of four separate households, each with up to 20 residents. Our Uniting Household Model of Care empowers our residential care teams to support our residents in ways that help them maintain a sense of meaning and purpose in their daily lives.

Role Overview

  • Clinical Leadership: Develop, deliver, and evaluate resident care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Sharp Clinical Assessment Skills: Lead in providing clinical services, and liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents' families.
  • Supervision and Support: Guide and support our Personal Care Workers.
  • Empowering Care Model: Our Uniting Household Model empowers residential care teams to support residents in ways that help them maintain a sense of meaning and purpose.

As a Registered Nurse with Uniting, you will practice holistically, utilising your critical decision-making skills to lead the team effectively.

Who We're Looking For

  • Registered Nursing Experience: In aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care with experience in the wider health sector.
  • Key Traits: Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, great time management, and embodying Uniting's values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
  • Commitment to Contemporary Aged Care: You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
