About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapists to join our friendly, supportive and dynamic Allied Health team, within the Home and Community Care area. 

This is a full time opportunity in the Sydney Central and North region.

As a Physiotherapist, you will provide professional advice and services based on the needs and goals of our clients. Key responsibilities will include:

  • In home assessments and reports
  • Development of programs to address strength and balance
  • Mobility equipment assessment and recommendations
  • Facilitating, monitoring and reviewing individual exercise programs
  • Liaising with wider members of the H&CC team to ensure clients are meeting goals / outcomes

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and current registration with the NSW Physiotherapy Board
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) registration
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in the delivery of Physiotherapy services for clients with chronic, aged and complex needs, designing and implementing client centred plans, managing complex client care and discharge planning
  • Demonstrated experience in assessment, planning and evaluating interventions, with the ability to exercise independent professional judgement with minimal direct supervision
  • Previous experience working in an Aged Care environment and commitment to providing quality services and care to aged care clients
  • Current First Aid or willingness to obtain
  • Current Australian Driver’s License and access to your own vehicle (preferred. Pool Car available) 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be confident working autonomously when required
  • Sound and proficient organisational skills with strong time management
  • Ability to prioritise competing workloads and tasks
  • Proficient in using computer applications including Microsoft office, client/data management systems and a willingness to learn new programs
