headspace Penrith and Mount Druitt, run by Uniting, aims to reduce the burden of disease in young people aged 12-25 years caused by mental health and related substance use disorders through early identification and effective, evidence-based intervention.
The Mental Health Clinician provides comprehensive, evidence-based clinical case management, psychological and psychosocial interventions to young people. The Clinician focuses on completion of intake and assessment of young people presenting to headspace, determine suitability of the program and to co-ordinate care for young people within the consortium. This includes ensuring treatment goals are met and adjusting provisions to help the young person meet their identified needs and goals.
