Treetops Preschool is currently seeking a committed and inspiring Diploma Qualified Educator to join their team on permanent part-time basis working with our 3-4 year old children (Thursday and Friday) beginning in term two 2021.  We are also looking for Casual Cert lll or Diploma educators wanting more flexibility to there shifts.

Uniting Treetops Preschool is the home of one of the highest achieving Preschools on the Northern Beaches Area. Our service is approved for 60 children which fosters children’s development in a life-long love of learning and pave the way for your child’s ongoing literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and language development that will ease their transition to ‘big school’, and far beyond.
Within our warm and welcoming service, we provide stimulating indoor and outdoor environments and programs designed to inspire your child’s desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage their curiosity, confidence, creativity and self-expression.

What do I need to succeed?

• Diploma in Children Services or Cert lll (essential), with a minimum 1 years’ experience working at Diploma or Cert lll Level in a Preschool or long day care
• A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
• An interest in Nature Pedagogy is desirable
• High level literacy, and expert at documenting children’s ideas, interests and learnings
• Must hold a current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
• Strong interpersonal skills (approachable, go-getter, positive attitude, team player)
