About the Opportunity

 
UnitingCare St Luke's Preschool provides education and care for 60 children daily. We are approved for children from 3 to 6 years of age attending as mixed age grouping of 3-5-year old’s, generally 2 days or more per week. The preschool environments are extensive with learning areas, both indoor classrooms and two outdoor playgrounds that stimulate growth, development and creativity through play and exploration.

This role requires a flexible, motivated and sensitive nurturing professional who is eager to work collaboratively within the team to support all children and their families/carers.

What you need to succeed:

• Must hold a Certificate III in Children's Services
• Have sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework
• Must hold a current WWCC and First Aid Certificate
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• Commitment to inclusive practices
• Demonstrated ability to work within a large team
• Enthusiasm for facilitating quality learning experiences to achieve children’s outcomes.
