About Uniting Caroona

Nestled in the picturesque township of Goonellabah, Uniting Caroona boasts an environment filled with natural beauty. Our facility comprises four separate households, each accommodating up to 20 residents. Here, your role as a Uniting Care Worker will ensure that our community thrives, engaging in meaningful and enjoyable activities.

Your Role

Our Uniting Household Model empowers residential care teams to support residents in maintaining a sense of purpose and meaning in their day. As a Carer, you'll provide essential care, companionship, and emotional support, enhancing residents' independence and quality of life. We have openings at Uniting residential facilities including Jarman, Kalina, and Marima in Goonellabah, NSW.

Flexible rosters available: Choose from AM, PM, weekday, or weekend shifts. Permanent part-time and full-time contracts are also available. we can also consider casual positions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, and mealtimes
  • Supporting general mobility
  • Administering medication and simple wound dressings
  • Handling laundry and cleaning tasks
  • Facilitating community-based recreational and social activities

Who We’re Looking For

Ideally, candidates will possess a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification. However, if you’re not currently qualified, we can help you achieve this. Whether you have experience in aged or community care, or are passionate about beginning a career in aged care, we welcome your application.
