About the role

Are you looking for an Administration role where every day is different?

  • Permanent part-time opportunity working 5 days/ 30 hours per week
  • Located at Foyer Central – Chippendale
  • Part of a dynamic team providing a ground breaking service to young people as they transition to independence

Foyer Central is an innovative, independent living program providing holistic support for 53 young people aged 18-22 with a lived experience of being in out of home care in NSW.

  • This role is responsible for providing administrative support including reception and back of house coordination to the Foyer Central team, based on site in Chippendale
  • In this role you will need to provide agile support to the Foyer Central leadership and team and to young people living in Foyer Central

What you need to succeed

  • Certificate 4 in Business Administration or equivalent experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of financial and document control systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; and demonstrated ability to apply these skills across a variety of engagements with participants, Uniting services, external stakeholders, employees, and senior management.
  • Strong experience in development and implementation of office systems and procedures.
  • Accurate word processing and presentation skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven organisational skills and the ability to multi-task with attention to detail, accuracy and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Be professional, flexible and able to deal with a dynamic work environment, using initiative to solve problems and to triage work demands.
